Win a class trip to your local science centre with GenAction!*
GenAction is a national community of young climate heroes from
K-12. Together we are on a mission to inspire youth to take climate action.

To win the contest, your are invited to submit a video that answers the question, "What does Climate Action mean to you?" Videos can be anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes. Bonus points for creativity like drawings, acting, poems, or acting out a climate action!
​
In addition to entering the contest, the most engaging videos could be showcased nationally during our GenAction Earth Day 2024 campaign (with your permission of course).
​
So, what does climate action mean to you? We can’t wait to find out!

Submissions close February 15, 2024.

This contest is in partnership with the Canadian Association of Science Centres.

This project was undertaken with the financial support of the Government of Canada.

Win:

FREE admission to your closest science centre for your group (up to 35 kids and 5 chaperones) OR a FREE virtual learning session with an approved Science Centre. Bookings must be confirmed by the science centre.

Partial or full transportation will be covered up to 100km.

*Science centres must be on the pre-approved list by the Canadian Association of Science Centres.

Only adults aged 19+, who are a Canadian resident working at a school located in Canada, can submit.

Limited to one submission by per class.

Videos must be 30-seconds to 5-minutes in length and can be submitted in French, English, or both.

Videos must be submitted in .mp4 or .MOV format, and can be taken by phone or another device.

Videos must be appropriate for all audiences. Videos that are deemed inappropriate or harmful by the GenAction team will not be considered for the contest.
